Well, when I first decided that I wanted a domain, I knew it was gonna be for my Jimmy Fallon fansite. It was at Geocities and I didn’t like it there. So I bought the domain at Yahoo and got everything set up there. I was happy at first but because I had all the space but I wanted to move my Jimmy fanlisting there also. So I learned how to make the sub-domains. When I finally learned that, it was the time of the domains and blogs so I wanted one too. I changed the fansite to a subdomain and made P-J my blog. Then I decided I wanted to host people, but at Yahoo you can’t really do that unless you trust the person with your life. So I then moved to CyberPixels. I eventually didn’t like it there anymore, so I moved to ImHosted. Now I moved again to Netrillium and so far so good 
I wanted something that had to do w/Jimmy or something he said, and I remembered the best quote from the first episode of the 01-02 SNL season. It was on Wake Up Wakefield and it was when Megan (Maya Rudolph) asked Reese Witherspoon who was playing Randy Goldman’s (Jimmy Fallon) girlfriend if “When you and Randy Goldman kiss, does it taste like Peach Jollyranchers?” And then, since I am obsesed w/Jimmy, I felt that was the perfect one.
That was the perfect domain until it just didn’t really fit anymore. I wanted something new and NOT Peach-Jollyrancher. While I was in search of a great word to use for an email address I came across the word unblurred. It is another word for crystal, which is my name, and I thoguht it was perfect. I also thought it would make a great domain so I went insearch of it. Unfortunately unblurred.org, .com, and .net were ALL taken.
I was then going to get unblurred.nu but for $40+ I don’t think so. So I ended up asking for some help and my friend Matt suggested un-blurred. That is how I came to this. I expect it to stay a while
UPDATE I now have moved hosts once again, now I am at ResellerZOOM for one amazing price and very decent amount of space, some places you REALLY just need to get away from sometimes you know.
